10 Years of Surrender
This month, May, I celebrated a personal milestone:
10 years of surrender…
10 years of being a stay-at-home mom and wife…
10 years of exchanging what I had in mind for my life for God’s plan instead…
As I reflect on this journey thus far, the biggest lesson I’ve learned is to stay faithful, even in the mundane.
Sometimes our human nature craves new and exciting things. We get bored easily and can get off track chasing the wind. But sticking with the mundane builds character. It forces you to rely on God and not yourself. The mundane is purposeful.
So whether you’re a stay-at-home momma like me (or a mom who is working outside your home) this same principle applies — "do not get tired of doing what is right" — right is what God has asked and called YOU to do.
Be and stay where God has you. Let Him make you flourish and remember that it is better to obey the Lord than to offer “sacrifices” to him.

I am grateful for the fruit the Lord has allowed me to see in this season of my life and I pray you're encouraged by it.
